Follow the Festivals along the Metra Northwest line. Almost every town along the line has a festival planned for July. There is something for everyone; entertainment, food and fun. Gather up your friends & family and head out for a taste of summer.

Prospect for their Fall Fest and then stick around and get ready to kick it up a notch at Oktoberfest. All of the festivities will be under a heated tent so you don’t have to worry about the weather. Come to the Mount Prospect Farmers Market to find the freshest Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs, flowers and other treats. The Market is held every Sunday June 19th through October 17th, from 8:00am-1:00pm. and is located right at the Metra Station Parking Lot.
If you are looking for something to do with the kids on their day off of school on February 20th, this is always a fun time and it raises money for the Mt. Prospect Historical Society. You can grab a friend or two and watch the kids skate, or if you still have game, you can skate too!

Some alleys are smaller old school lanes, and others are larger more modern facilities, all are within easy walking distance of the train.
