Cary Main Street Fest, one of the newest fall festivals in the Northwest Suburbs. Hop on the Metra, Northwest Line and party in the street. With a full line up of bands, craft beer, select wines and local restaurants offering great fall flavors. There will also be family entertainment stage and art area.
If you love nature and the outdoors, don’t miss this art exhibit and sale, benefiting The Land Conservancy of McHenry County. The Art exhibit is open both Friday and Saturday with over 100 artists, music, appetizers from 1776 and more.
If you are looking for music, food and fun here is your ticket. Hop on board for some of this summers best festivals, all right off Metra’s Northwest Line. Starting on June 27th with Des Plaines-Summer Fling to August 15th with Edison Park Fest there is a festival to attend almost every weekend.
This years fireworks along the Northwest Line start on July 2nd with the last town, Fox River Grove on the 12th. So get out and enjoy the show. Many of the towns have celebrations, festivals and parades as well.
Head to Downtown Palatine to enjoy Live Entertainment, German food and of course some German Beer. The Palatine Rotary’s Oktoberfest also features a family friendly time on Saturday afternoon. Admission to Oktoberfest is free and all monies raised will support local charities.
