100th Anniversary Celebration
Sat Aug 4th Out of the Box, Wickham Interiors and The Flag Store will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of their buildings. All three buildings were built in 1912 and have a rich history. Come to Williams St in downtown Crystal Lake to find out more about these buildings and take part in the fun. Each store has a little something special planned including sales, giveaways, and entertainment.
Wickham Interiors will be showing a silent movie in their store in honor of the fact that their building was once a movie theater.
Out of the Box will be giving away “old time” penny candy in honor of the fact that their building was a pharmacy for many years.
The Flag Store will be giving away copies of her historical book in keeping with their strong tradition of patriotism and honoring the history of downtown Crystal Lake.
There will be outdoor entertainment and Wickham Interiors and Out of the Box will have sale offering items for $19.12 as well as other giveaways and drawings.
Out of the Box will be open until 5:30, the other stores close at 5:00
