In the month of March everyone is a little Irish. Here is a listing of festivals and parades that will allow you to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day starting on March 11th and end on March 17th. So don your green and get ready to party! We will keep you posted as more details are finalized for these and other events.
You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy this pub crawl. We have included five Irish pubs in five different towns. Pick where you want to stop and end, then go out and have some ‘craic.” (an Irish term for fun or good time). If you try all five we would like to hear about your favorites.
We know that practically every town has a movie theater, but few have a historic gem like the Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge. While there, plan to eat at Affresco Pizzeria one of our new favorites. Both the theater and the restaurant will make you glad you made the trip.
You don’t have to go to Chicago to enjoy an evening of live entertainment. The Metropolis is a great venue that offers a variety of comedy, drama and music programs. This venue is easy to access via the Metra Rails. Great excursion for a family, a group or a couple.
