One of the surest signs of Summer is the return of Racing to Arlington Park Race Track. Opening day is May 3rd so hop on the Metra Northwest Line and be delivered right to their door. A day at the Track is a fun and exciting way to spend the day with friends & family.

Don’t let another summer go by without visiting beautiful Arlington Park Racecource. The park has so much to offer with many activities geared for families, as well as groups of any size. Admission is affordable and with Metra stopping right in front of the park even getting there is easy.
Great bands (like headliner Foghat) and Pizza get together and the first Pizza Fest is born. Both Friday & Saturday will feature a fantastic music lineup, as well as activities for the kids. All within walking idstance of the train.
Head to Downtown Palatine to enjoy some German food and of course some German beer at the Palatine Rotary’s Oktoberfest.The fest features live entertainment, and on Saturday afternoon-family activities. Best of all admission to Oktoberfest is free and all monies raised will support local charities.
