Nothing spells the beginning of Summer than Festivals. Here is your ticket to the summer festivals along the Northwest Line.

McHenry – Fiesta Days, July 11th – 20th, at Petersen Park, 4300 Petersen Park Road, in McHenry. Grate lineup of live entertainment, craft beer station, carnival rides , Shakespeare in the Park and much, much more. For more info go to http://www.mchenryfiestadays.com/

Crystal Lake – Lakeside Festival, from July 3rd – July 6th, held on the grounds of the Dole Mansion just across from Crystal Lake’s Main Beach. Palatine – Hometown Fest - July 2nd – July 6th, the 57th annual July 4th celebration. Enjoy tons of bands, local eateries, carnival, a special family day and fireworks on the 3rd, a parade on the 4th and much more. Held in Community Park on Palatine Road and Northwest Highway. Arlington Heights – Frontier Days, July 2nd – 6th. With great entertainment, food, carnival, family activities and more, from Shuttle buses are provided to the event from the downtown parking garages, about 3 blocks from the Arlington Heights Metra station. Mount Prospect – The 76th Annual Mount Prospect Lions Club Festival,  July 2nd – July 6th at Melas Park located at Busse and Central Roads. The festival features live entertainment, the Taste of Mt.
