See Frozen the movie then have some frozen adventures of your own.

Here in the Midwest in the middle of winter the word Frozen doesn’t exactly conjure up great feelings. If you feel like Anna in the movie frozen you may feel trap in icy world. We have found four fun activities on the Northwest Pacific Metra Line.

1. Visit Julie Ann’s in Crystal Lake. This unique dessert shop is a little further off the tracks than we normally promote, but it is so worth the trip. Julie Ann’s is featuring a special sundae in honor of the movie. The Frozen Snowman a small scoop of vanilla custard top with cotton candy sprinkles and a snowman sugar cookie frosted with white chocolate. Julie Ann’s also has a full line of frozen custard treats, including sundaes, cones, chocolate covered bars, pies and cakes. What make this place so unique is that in addition to all the traditional favorite, Julie Ann’s also has some unique flavors such as Burnt Salted Caramel or Banana  Nut Foster and liquor infused flavors such as Bailey’s Mocha Truffle or Rumchata. This creamy goodness is made fresh daily. For more information
