Downtown Crystal Lake's Festival of Lights Parade

 Friday November 23rd – Festival of Lights Holiday Parade - at 7pm. You have to see this festive night time parade with over 50 + entries and thousands of spectators. The decorated floats, marchers and music will create the perfect introduction to this Christmas season. The parade will kick-off at City Hall, go west on Woodstock Street, south on N. Caroline Street, east on Crystal Lake Avenue, north on Grant Street, east on Woodstock Street, then south on Williams Street, Downtown Crystal Lake’s main street. Santa will arrive at the end of the parade in his horse-drawn sleigh to light the Downtown Christmas Tree and begin visits with children at his house in Brink Street Market

November 23rd – December 23rd, Santa House Visits – Also beginning immediately after the Festival of Lights Holiday Parade are Santa House Visits. So if you can’t make it on Friday, don’t worry, your child can visit with Santa at his house at Brink St. Market, on Williams St. until December 23rd: Thursdays & Fridays from 6-8pm, Saturday’s from 10:00-3:00 pm, and Sundays from noon – 3:00 pm, with extended hours Monday, Dec.19th -Fri.23rd 6-8 pm. 

Breakfast With Santa

Saturday, December 10th – Breakfast with Santa - at 9am Delight in another Crystal Lake Christmas tradition, ‘Breakfast With Santa’Held in the Old Towne Hall, at the corner of Brink and Williams Streets. You will enjoy a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and more. Music, singing and a festive holiday atmosphere fills the room. Every boy and girl receives a special cuddly gift, but the big reason for coming is to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! There is always plenty of time for each child to sit on Santa’s lap, and whether they have been naughty or nice they can tell Santa what they want for Christmas. Each child receives a keepsake photo with the Santa. Tickets go on sale Nov. 8th, and are $12.00 each (under age 2 free) and may be purchased at Heisler’s Bootery, 50 N. Williams St. and Dalzell Jewelers, 41 N. Williams Street or purchased on line at http://www.downtowncl.org/
