The Rotary Club of Palatine will be hosting their 5th Annual Oktoberfest on Friday, September 14th through Sunday, September 16th in Fireman’s Memorial parking lot on the corners of Brockway and Slade in downtown Palatine, right next to the Palatine Metra Station.
This completely tented FREE fest features: live entertainment, authentic German food, and cuisine from local eateries. Beverages include Schofferhofer and Radenberger Beer as well as Special Brews from a local Brewery. Wine, pop and water also available. Admission to Oktoberfest is free and monies raised will support local charities.
Friday, the festivities will begin with a traditional keg rolling ceremony at 5:30 and the bands ‘Phenix’ and Die Musikmeisters will round out the night.
Saturday, crowds will be entertained from noon until 3:30 PM with Family Activities including The Great Sobotka Magic Show from noon until 1:00 PM, followed by the Palatine Children’s Choir and the Quest Academy Choirs from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM. Family day activities conclude with a performance by Bonnie Lindholm School of Dance and much more…..

Bands: 5:30-7:30pm – Phenix & 8:00pm – Midnight - Die Musikmeisters
September 17th from 12pm – 12am
Activities: Family Fun Day 12:00-3:00pm Bands: Die Musikmeisters 3:30 PM until 7:30 PM, followed Phenix from 8:00 PM until close at midnight.
Sunday, September 18th from 12pm – 6pm
Activities: 2:00 – 4pm – German Wine Tasting
Bands: Noon-3:00pm – Die Lustigen Musikanten & Johnny Wagner from 3:30 PM until 6:00 PM
