The Fourth Annual Edison Park Comedy Festival October, 17th – 19th 2012 at Three Venues Over Three Nights

Yes I Am Show Business in conjunction with the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the fourth annual Edison Park Comedy Fest Wednesday October 17th through Friday October 19th. The fest features Chicago’s best stand-up comedians performing at three venues in Edison Park. Each show will consist of a different line-up of Chicago’s best-known comics.

Be there for the kick off at Snuggery Pub (6733 N. Olmsted Ave) on Wednesday the 17th at 8:30pm featuring “Your Funniest Friends!” Your Funniest Friends is a comedy group based in Chicago known for its off-beat and absurd brand of humor. It is comprised of five comedians who are always willing to test limits and push buttons. Its fresh and innovative approach to stand-up and sketch comedy rewards audiences with some the most unique comedy shows available anywhere in the city.

From there the festival moves toThe Emerald Isle (6686 N. Northwest Hwy) on the 18th (8:30pm) . This show will star “Comedians You Should Know” a group of six Chicago-based stand-up comedians intent on changing the face of Chicago Comedy with their weekly downtown show, videos and comedy tours. Their new, self -titled album debuted at number one on iTunes.

Friday night the comedy will move around the corner to Edison Park Inn (6715 N. Olmsted, Chicago) at 8:30pm where Chicago-based Red to Black Productions flagship act, “The Wind-UP” closes out this great festival. The Wind Up has been described as a high-octane, rock n? roll collective and they have a reputation of bringing the party with them to any venue in which they perform. Big things are expected from The Wind Up in the future considering its individual members have already achieved so much. Members of The Wind Up’s credits include Comedy Centrals Comedians to watch list, TBS Just For Laughs Festival, Chicago Reader’s Best Stand Up, TBS’ “Sullivan and Sons”, Canadian Mist Whiskey’s comedian of the year, The Boston Comedy Festival, San Francisco Comedy Festival, Detroit Comedy Festival, and more.
