Where: Sheffield and Addison in Chicago (right across from Wrigley Field)

Come and kick off the summer festival season at the Chicago SausageFest. This two day event is held in the heart of the Lakeview neighborhood.

“It’s all about encased meat treats at this tasty and tantalizing fest held adjacent to iconic Wrigley Field. Returning to the Lake View neighborhood for its second year, SausageFest vendors will include several of the Windy City’s best-known butcher/meat shops and restaurants.

SausageFest King

A highlight of the festival will be the crowning of the the new Sausage King of Chicago. The person raising the most money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation will be named Chicago SausageFest King 2012. The top ten contestants will be invited to the festival for the crowning of the King. The winner will be given a “King Wristband” and “Sausage Pass”allowing him to enjoy free sausages and beverages. The King will also enjoy his own VIP area to share with friends.
