Two great events make Thursdays one of the best nights to visit Barrington.
The Barrington Farmer’s Market is located in the village parking lot at the corner of Main (Lake Cook Road) and South Cook Street in Barrington, Illinois. The market runs from 2:00-7:00 p.m. every Thursday beginning, June 16th, through October.
The Barrington Farmers Market will offer a wide variety of vendors selling everything from fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, meats, cheeses, honey, breads, and pasta. Remember to bring your dull knives of all kinds and sizes to be sharpened while you shop. You can also stop by to enjoy some of the freshly prepared eating delights or find a few gift ideas as well.
Barrington Cruise Night, another great family event, is also on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00p.m. beginning in June and running through August. Both events are held in the same area of downtown and are promoted as “Thursdays in the Village.”
