Christmas in Cary — Merry Cary 2011 Holiday Parade & Festival December 4th

 Enjoy an afternoon of family fun this holiday season in Quaint Downtown Cary –  On Sunday December 4th, starting at 1:00pm.

Merry Cary Parade

The festivities kick off at 1:00 pm with the Merry Cary Holiday Parade, one of the largest Holiday parades in McHenry County, boasting hundreds of participants.  The parade will wind down West Main Street and turn at Jandus Road through downtown Cary.

After the parade the Main Street comes alive with horse-drawn sleigh rides, petting zoo, and pony rides.  Live musical performances by local youth bands  inside the Harris Bank lobby.

Santa, who will be riding in the Merry Cary parade on a horse-drawn sleigh, will stop at Cary Travel Express, 9 Jandus Road, to visit with local children until about 3:30 p.m. Christmas Elves Wally and Victor from “Those Funny Little People” will perform downtown.

The Tracks Bar & Grill

While you are in town listen to the music from Stax O Wax have a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants: The Tracks, known for their burgers and beer.  Galati’s Pizza & Pasta,  Buddha BeanOrchard Prime Meats & Wine Shoppe, and Cary Pub.
