Progressive Dinner in Palatine

 This excursion takes you to three different dining destinations in Palatine for three dinner courses. What a great way to experience what each restaurant has to offer. For your first course go to Emmett’s Brewing Co. It is a great place to sit outside and enjoy the weather, and one of their hand crafted beers.  In addition to appetizers, Emmett’s has small plate items that can be shared. The restaurant is only a minute way from the Metra station. Head east on Westwood Street, then left on North Brockway Street.

For your dinner entree Gianni’s Cafe is next on the list. This restaurant is known for their fresh seafood and Italian food. The menu features a create your own pasta where you can select from a variety of pastas, sauces and ingredients. Gianni’s now offers gluten free pasta. Dress appropriately, nice jeans are acceptable. Once again if the weather permits outside dining is available. Gianni’s is less than 5 minutes from Emmet’s, go south on North Brockway Street, left at West Wilson Street and right at West Station Street.

The final stop is Artistic Cuisine.

Make sure you save room for dessert, even if it is just a scoop of seasonal gelato. This Argentinean restaurants food and wine, has Latin and European influences. The dessert menu features some traditional as well as not so traditional items. You may want to come back for lunch or dinner and try the empanadas, Yum. Artistic Cuisine is minutes away from Gianni’s, go southeast on West Station Street, right at North Plum Grove Road, then right at West Palatine Road.
